Souk to Souk... cycling from Plymouth to Morocco
You know you have been cycling to long in the day when your shadow manages to circle all the way around you! Woke up in the woods so cold there was ice, needed alpine gloves, covered 53km before stopping for a protein shake and our usual bread and cheese. Snow capped mountains to our right and desert land to our left, leaving sillouted mountains in the distance behind. Climbing a particularly spectacular hill, we had a fan club a group of 8 french roadies, they where a happy bunch with there Super U (we love super U) support van! Lots of amazing ups and downs, castles on hills and sheperds tending their sheep, we are loving that we can see this awe inspiring countries true culture from the seat of a bicycle. We managed to have a decent convo with a little old lady although she could only speak Spanish, she seemed so very proud of us! Wild camping again tonight look out for snakes, sunset was stunning, met an English touring couple yay! Jj has been in charge of the solar panel today, catching the rays! covered 120km nearing madrid, near a not so little town called Siguenza, will keep the wheels rolling but off to bed now!
